SED 10/15/13
Tues. 10/15/13
Damn! The month is half gone. How did that happen? I say it all the time, but it remains true, I can't believe how fast time is flying by! I have made it halfway through the month with SED, only forgetting two times so far. But as others have said, I feel that it's hard to come up with something to write here each day that is not totally booooring!
Not a lot accomplished today. Had to go get lab work done for yearly check-up next week. Luckily got a really good phlebotomist, barely a pick and the blood was drawn. In and out of the lab in a matter of minutes. (I love that the lab where I go started letting people schedule appointments online or by phone. It used to be walk-in only, and they still take walk-ins but the folks with appointments get taken back pretty much on time). My appt was 12:45, I walked in at 12:38, signed in, and was called back like three minutes later, and out the door by 12:52. (I felt kind of bad for the people all still sitting there waiting though, but hey, they could have made appointments too, unless they just came straight from their doc's office or something).
We also finalized the dates today for our family Christmas gathering. Oldest son and wife volunteered to host this year (the ones we babysat for a couple of weeks ago). There was some drama with daughter K's MIL, as K & B had originally indicated they preferred the weekend after Christmas, but his mom was all worked up about it interfering with the out of state brother coming in between Christmas and New Year. So things were rearranged, everyone is fine with it and we will do our get-together the weekend before Christmas. (I'm expecting (hoping, at least) for it to go much better than last year as that is when hubby had his meltdown and ended up in the hospital. He seems to be doing much better now and I am hoping it continues to be so). It seems weird to be making plans for the holidays already, but like I said October is half over!
