I just think I'd be able to travel to so many cool places if I could just zap myself there. (Hopefully without the splinching thing though. The idea of leaving bits of myself lying about is rather disconcerting. Another reason I have serious doubts about the transporter method ala Star Trek--what if those atoms reassemble themselves in the wrong order?)
