Well to be quite fair, that is only half of us,(Michigan) the other part of the state is the separate upper peninsula to the north of us between Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.

I hope I didn't sound like an arrogant American who thinks that the rest of the world should know all about America. I just thought that the shape of the land would stand out with the great lakes surrounding it. :)
