Ireland pic spam

Well I am finally getting around to posting a few pics from my Ireland trip. We took so many it is hard to choose. I am going to post some here, but I have also created a slide show at photobucket for any who would like to go take a look. I didn't post all 600+ photos there, but there are about 73 or so, so be warned.

Here is the link for the slideshow: http://s588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/madeleone/Ireland%20trip/?action=view&current=775cf9ab.pbw

For some reason when I click it the first spot is blank, just click next and it should go to the first pic in the slide show. And I swear when I put the slide show together the pics were pretty much in chronological order but now they just appear to be willy-nilly. Oh well, hope you enjoy the views. :)

And here are a few pics under the cut to spare my flist:

this is me the first day, we arrived at 9:30 am and couldn't check into the B&B until mid afternoon, so in spite of arriving on the red eye we did a bit of sight seeing on our way to Doolin (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours drive from Shannon) This was taken outside a museum in Ennis.

This is Doolin Castle and we saw this view as we were driving, not really knowing where we were going. Denny insisted on getting a pic and it is gorgeous.

the next two pics are both at the Cliffs of Moher. It was very windy the day we were there, but the views were beautiful.

This is the Ballykine House, the second B&B we stayed at. It was a 200 year old gamekeepers lodge. (The house has been expanded since, but the B&B is in the older part of the house.

This is Clonbur. The ss/hg fic I wrote for the Morethanmolly comm was set in Clonbur, I of course had never been there, but had just picked it off of a map. I loved it there.

Th next two were near a castle we discovered by accident. We were driving along and saw a sign Ballynahinch Castle so we checked it out. The sign on the door said closed today other than residents and I later learned that it is now a hotel. We walked around the paths and found some lovely views.

This was in the Grange Stone Circle. This place just fascinated me and walked the entire circle and touched each stone. It was magical,

This was our last day at Bunratty Castle and folk park. Loved seeing the castle although my knees were not happy with climbing all the stairs.
