SED 10/3/13

Thurs.10/3/13 (Okay, technically I know it's 10/4 here right now, but I'm using the old it's still Thursday somewhere rule)

I really like Thursday's because being part-time I only work three days a week, currently M-W-Th. Subsequently Thursdays are my Fridays. End of the week—I'm done for the week and looking at a three day weekend. Yay! If I had my druthers, (and I may before too much longer, but I don't want to jinx anything so no more about that right now), I would be retired.

Got home and hubby had made burgers and foil wrapped potatoes on the grill with pork& beans on the side. It was yummy. We often don't even bother to cook regular meals these days. Kids are all gone and there's just the two of us now. The days I work I often don't get home until 6 or 7pm and sometimes still have another hour of paperwork so I definitely don't cook anymore on the days I work. (Unless you consider Jets Pizza ore Wendy's chili cooking, lol!) Last nights dinner for me was a peanut butter and jam sandwich, and it tasted damn good! Anyway was happy have a home grilled meal waiting for my upon my arrival today. :)

Tomorrow we head up north for a long weekend to visit eldest child and d-i-l and our adorable grandkids. :)
