Does anyone know what's going on with Granger Enchanted? I can access the home page but clicking on anything leads to an error or blank page. Nothing seems to work. :(

however if you read in the comments you get this from 9hrs ago: Granger Enchanted We are working out the details for keeping the site and hope to have positive news soon. We are doing everything we possibly can to make this happen. We all appreciate so much all the support and love. xoxoxoKel (DHLane)
Thanks for the link to the FB page, at least we can get updates. This is so discouraging, I've only been in the HP fandom about eight years and I've seen so many archives disappear. :(
All the archives seem to be going down, slowly but surely
This is one of my major bitches. I've only been around here eight years and I've seen so many archives just disappear. All that fan fic just gone, and a lot of never gets reposted anywhere else.
I haven't heard anything about the AO3 problems. Please tell me that we aren't going to lose that site too. Soon all that will be left is the pit of voles. :(
As a writer, I've pretty much lost my patience with the mercurial my-sandbox! policies of the former, and am frustrated by the month-long queue at the latter.
It's a shame that when archives go down, they don't make an effort to contact authors and help them migrate their fiction to more permanent homes. Presumably most authors are still alive, though, so the fics are not really gone gone. Yet.
Yes, but some of the fics are older ones, and sometimes those authors have moved on to other fandoms or just lost interest in fanfic altogether. So those fics might never get reposted.
I remember early on when I used to be into Dramione. The archive Coloured Grey went down unexpectedly. And I even recall an author or two asking if anyone had copies of their(the authors) fics as they were early works, and through computer crashes or whatever they didn't have copies of them. This is why now, if I really, really love a fic I save it to my hard drive and back it up somewhere, just for my own enjoyment.
It does look as though the recent resignation of the board is actually a positive step forward, as members of the previous board were not transparent with budgets (didn't even do them for the most part), given to sock-puppetry, and generally colluded in an anti-democratic manner. The archive is continuing -- they have a comparatively massive staff of volunteers.
