I'm playing catch up. Days 12, 13, & 14
I think we may have entered an AU, because days 12 and 13 provided dupicate characters, although in different costumes. My son suggested perhaps they represent different books/movies. I thInk I shall go with the theory that they have used a time turner and showed up here at the same time as their dopplegangers.
Saturday, Harry showed up in his pj's holding up the invisiblity cloak. Sunday, another version of Dumbledore arrived (I actually like this one better). And today, the arrival of my first Malfoy--Draco.
I'm a bit disappointed to have repeat characters as I thought I'd have 24 different characters to play with. But it's all good I guess, now I have choices to switch in and out. ;-)

I have several of the full sized HP ones, so my daughter thought this mini collection in an advent calendar would be a good birthday gift--she was right!

I, too, am surprised at the repeats when there are so many characters they could use. Still, the adorable factor is way up there.

It is a Harry Potter NYCC fall convention 2017 exclusive And the only one I have that I keep in the box. (I took him out for this photo op). When I started getting them I saw it on eBay and really wanted it. So I paid for the exorbitant price of $26--they have 2 listed now at $63 and $312.

How cool! It’s so sad that these things come with such a hefty price tag...I hate those greedy people who take advantage of fans!

I do have the entire collection of books in hard covers that are First US edition (which is not really a big deal because there are millions of them) But all mine, save book one, are first edition/first printings(which is the key factor), book one is a second printing. Those might actually be worth something someday and are already promised to my youngest daughter, another dedicated Harry Potter nerd.

Wow! I got into fandom late so about 5 of my HP books came from a garage sale find. And LittleToby finds it perplexing that I won’t let my (basic) Snape Funco out of the box. 😄 Any other HP things you collect?

In addition the the first printings set of books, I have another full set of the hardcovers for actual reading purposes and I have started buying the illustrated versions of the books--no first edition/first printings on any of these though. I also have the entire Blu-ray collection that came in a cool collectors box that has hidden compartments and extra gifts, like Slytherin's locket, maps of Hogwarts, posters, and other cool stuff. I have two of the "official" collectible wands--Severus' and Hermione's, (of course). And aside from my Boggart-Snape Funco guy, I have probably a dozen or so of the other HP funco characters. Oh I almost forgot, I have a bunch of the HP lego characters--not the lego sets--just the little characters. I used to buy the individual mini figures on e-bay but got a bit carried away and had to stop myself--LOL. Not that I'm a tad bit obsessive or anything. ;-)
