My exchange fic is done!

I just hit the send button to send my exchange fic winging it's way through cyber space to the mods. Yay! I'm so happy it's done and actually 3 days ahead of my extended deadline.

Thanks so much to my betas who shall remain nameless for right now. And for talking me back from the ledge when I had a minor panic attack after sending the final chapter, thanks S., you know who you are!

Now just have to sit back and wait for the fun to begin when the stories start posting.


ETA: Oh good grief, despite the fact that I checked it all before I sent it off, I just read chapter one and found a missing word and two typo's. I'm not reading anymore until it's posted at the exchange!

I find that if you keep the mod informed. They are OK. I was so afraid I'd have to ask for an extension this time. But I managed to get it done. it's not perfect, but the mods say teh giftee will be happy. So I am happy. I cant wait, there is going to be so much awesome.

Go you, my dear! Don't worry about an odd typo. I'm sure no one will worry about them, and you can always catch them before you post to any of the archives.

It doesn't matter how often I go over stuff, I always find something or another on a reread years later.

Congrats on getting your exchange fic done. It's always a huge relief to hit that send button. I've been out of commission for a few days, so I'm a bit behind on catching up with my flist.

I had the same thing happen to me when I sent mine in. It doesn't seem to matter how many times you look over your work even after the beta has been through it, somehow there's always something you would want spelled or worded differently.
