One of my fave go to ss/hg authors, Yay! I just got the update that she's started posting a new fic: Absinthe. She says it's dark but has a happy ending, and the story is finished so knowing Aurette we can expect regular updates. Just thought I'd spread the word. ;)

I forgot to post when I updated last week, so now both Chapters 5 and 6 are up and there's only one chapter left to go next Tuesday. :)

Summary: After a night partying with friends, Hermione wakes up with only the vivid memory of wild crazy sex, but doesn't know with who. It must have been a dream, right? At least that's what she thinks, until she rolls over and sees... Dear Merlin! Suddenly it's not a dream it's a nightmare.

This fic was originally started for a fest, however, I was unable to complete the story by the deadline. I have since completed it and since our OBM mod, (and co-incidentally, my brit-picker, cheerleader and sometimes back up beta), talesofsnape,  pointed out to me that we hadn't had any fics posted for awhile, I decided to post it there first. So in lieu of my weekly Tuesday rec for the next several weeks I'll be posting a chapter each week. Expect seven in all.

New Beginnings, my fic for the morethanmolly comm. is now being posted at OWL. (I wrote it as a gift for morethansirius),  Chap 1 through 3 are up and #4 is in queue, there are 12 chapters total.

Summary: It's nine years post war. Hermione has just had a traumatic break up with her fiance, Theodore Nott. Hurt and disillusioned with her life she retreats to a cottage in rural Ireland that she inherited from a Great Aunt. You'll never guess who else has been living a peaceful life in the Muggle world in the same small village for the past eight years.
