As I'm sure nearly everyone has already heard about the closing of OWL. I'm sorry to see it go, even though I really hadn't been there much in over a year, since I started having trouble posting new chapters there.  I see that Kribu just posted with invites to AO3 and it occurred to me that I too have a couple invites available to anyone who might be looking for a new Archive. If you're interested IM me through LJ with your email addy and I will send them off. I have 2 for sure and in the past was able to put in a request and was given a couple more so that's a possibility also. Just let me know.

I will say, I don't get a whole lot of reviews or comments there but I feel like it is somewhere to put my fics and have them available. With the history of archives disappearing, sometimes without any notice like we've had with OWL, I like to have my fics posted is several places rather than put all my eggs into one basket so to speak. I read a post by Bambu where she said that when CG went down a couple of years ago she had a couple dramione fics that she had not posted elsewhere and had no hard copy of, so they are now gone for good. That's sad. :(

Is anyone else having really long waits for posting stories at OWL. I posted the first two chapters of my SS/HG fic: A Balance of Three on Sept 6th, so over three weeks ago and have not heard anything back and they are still in queue. I did send a email  about a week ago, to ask if things were just a little slow right now but never heard anything back. Just wondering.

New Beginnings, my fic for the morethanmolly comm. is now being posted at OWL. (I wrote it as a gift for morethansirius),  Chap 1 through 3 are up and #4 is in queue, there are 12 chapters total.

Summary: It's nine years post war. Hermione has just had a traumatic break up with her fiance, Theodore Nott. Hurt and disillusioned with her life she retreats to a cottage in rural Ireland that she inherited from a Great Aunt. You'll never guess who else has been living a peaceful life in the Muggle world in the same small village for the past eight years.
