It's frickin' cold outside!

Holy crap! Current temps are -8 F with a windchill of -31. Great night for staying in with a good book, a cup of tea, a fleecy blankie and fluffy slippers.

LOL! That would be cold for there. Nope Michigan. I did visit California with my DD two years ago (it was our last fling for a mom daughter trip before she got married that summer). But I've always lived in Michigan. ;)

It freezing here too. It sucked driving to work since it so cold. At least work is the same town as me. Stay Warm!

Yeah, when it's this cold the heater in the car has a hard time keeping it warm. Drive careful and stay safe.

We have a guy we hire to plow out our driveway, it's a long one about 300ft. Since we had 10-12 inches of snow this weekend he came out and plowed yesterday. We've had relatively mild winters for the last couple years so I was afraid it was going to catch up with us eventually, looks like this might be the year. Hubby had to go out today for an appointment and said although most of the road have been cleared (not ours)they were still pretty bad with drifting and such.

Luckily for me I don't have to worry about getting out to work, but more about that later. ;)

Well, I'm glad hubby managed, and I'm even happier that you get the chance to stay snuggled up by a nice warm fire. Somehow I had the feeling from your snail-mail address that you would be a fair way away from neighbours/the road.

Yeah, it's cold here in Delaware, too. I did everything I had to do that required me going outside yesterday, so I would only have to go out as briefly as possible -- if at all -- today. Makes you wonder how people ever survived the Ice Age. I guess they were made of sterner stuff....

It's 15 F in Charlotte, NC, with a low of 9. Holy cow, this is the South -- how am I supposed to enjoy my sweet iced tea and mint juleps in this weather?

Hmmm... might I suggest in place of the sweet iced tea and mint juleps maybe a nice hot cuppa or spiced hard cider. LOL!

It's supposed to warm up today. Right now it's 15, so I guess that's a heat wave! LOL
