Hermione the Hero
Jul. 15th, 2011 11:16 amA nice little article on how Hermione's character is a in inspiration to young girls. :)
The article is HERE.
Sad but true that a lot of the characters little girls are exposed to are passive princesses waiting for their prince to ride in on a white horse and give them the happily ever after fairy-tail. But Hermione has brains and guts and loyalty and is willing to go out and fight her own battles. And she'd not ashamed to be smart and to use her smarts.
And thanks to JKR for giving her to us. I wasn't happy with what she did to our Snape, but she got something right when she created Hermione.
Yay for Hermione, she's my hero!
