exchange prompts too much fun

Is anyone else having the same problem as me? I'm having so much fun reading the prompts I keep forgetting to look for prompts relating to my bingo card spots. Then I also keep forgetting whats on my bingo card and having to go back and check. LOL!

I haven't posted mine yet, I am still mulling over some of my art prompts.

I keep having to go back and change a person's prompt on my card, because they manage to fill multiple spaces on my card. It's kind of tricky since I know we can't use the same person twice. It also stinks that we can't use our own prompts, as I have at least two spaces that could potentially make my card a winner.

The Ravenclaw in me has figured out a system that really helps me out with this.

Good luck with your art prompts. Those are always the hardest to figure out for me.

Good luck with your card. I have quite a few matches but not anywhere close to an S or an H. I may have to re-check and get a bit more creative with my interpretations of the prompts. LOL!

Snicker! Nope, not having that problem for two reasons.

a) I lack even the intelligence even Ron Weasley was born with and screwed up my attempt to sign up for prompt bingo.

and

b) I haven't found the ten to fifteen hours it would probably take me if I went to look at the prompts.

*snickers* back at you. It's not that bad. You just clicked on the wrong post I think. And it's not that it takes that long, I read through all the prompts posted last night (just skipped the wills and won'ts a what I wants parts). It's just I get so caught up in reading the prompts and thinking---'oh, that's a good idea' or 'I really love that one' or 'or even oh, no, I hope I don't get that one, because I have no idea what I'd write!' or 'Omg, my prompts are crap compared to these!'--- that I forget to look for the prompts that I actually have on my bingo card. LOL

I gloated too soon. Pokey lived up to her name overnight and asked if wanted a card. I started off trying to read all the prompts and realised there was no way I was going to remember my twenty-four themes, so then I started doing searches for individual themes I needed and failed miserably with the first three I tried so now I'm going back to reading all the prompts one by one... if I don't just give up.

Hi,

I hope you don't mind me butting in to comment, well ask something actually. I just signed up for the exchange for the first time (very excited). It all seems rather big, new and intimidating but I thought I'd got my head round it all until I saw your comment about bingo cards - now I'm well confused again (it doesn't take much). Bingo cards? Have I missed something? Sorry if I seem a bit thick. Also sorry if I left this comment on the wrong place. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
