May be out of touch for a bit

madeleoneHey all, just wanted to leave a quick note to let everyone know I will be gone unexpectedly for a week or two.
My mother-in-law passed away early this morning and we are in a mad dash off to Florida.(hubby wants to drive--1200 miles one way, he had a bad experience on his flight back last month), plus this way we will have a car at our disposal, as we really don't know how long we will have to stay.
This was not sudden or unexpected, she has been ill for quite some time. It was one of those situations where she could go at anytime or hang in there for months. Mr M had spent 5 weeks down there in June so that was good, he got to spend a good amount of time with her. At any rate, I may be without internet for awhile. And if my exchange fic gets posted I didn't want the author/artist to think I was ignoring them.
Well must rush off. Have to finish packing the car and hit the road in the next couple hours.
