A few pics from our cruise and more.

I said when we got back from our cruise I would eventually post a few pics so here they are:

first is a shot of our ship the Fascination:



Next is a shot of our "jr. suite" I got a deal on the room.:)



Here is a shot of us the night of the formal dinner:



And here is me in the coconut lounge:



This was us sight-seeing,  atop an old fort in Nassau.


here is the second stop Little Stirrup Cay, which was a private island owned by the cruise line. Basically this was a 'beach' day, so not being fond of beachy type activities I was not as excited about this stop.



Next a surprise, I discovered there were a couple of hitch hikers along for the ride on my trip:




They vowed to protect me from this giant pig... err... dog...err... pig-dog (hubby and I couldn't decide for sure what this creature was.)







They also defended our suite from this fearsome wild elephant!



Sighs! My Heros!


So all in all a very fun trip. Hitchhikers and all!

Nope, nary a blonde hair on this head, unless you count the fact that beneath those brown natural curls lies a layer of grey, or let's call it silver, (It sounds less 'old') hidden by that dye-job. ;D

Aren't they cool? I couldn't wait each night to see wheat the new animal would be. Yes, it was a fun time.

This was our first cruise. We both agreed that we would go on another but I don't think I could do more than 5 to 7 days. This was a 5 day cruise and I think 7 would work okay but there is only so much scheduled fun I can tolerate. There is so much to do and you've already paid for it with the cruise, so you (or me at least) felt like I had to participate to get my money's worth. LOL! By the end I just wanted a quiet spot to curl up with my laptop or my Nook and unwind. :)

Thanks for asking. It was fabulous and ran smoothly for the most part. Our biggest snafus were a missing photographer, late airline flights, and a collapse of food trays in the portable warmer. But all who attended the weekend's festivities gave our shindig -- and Young Mr. C -- two thumbs up!
