What a lazy day it was today. :-D
The weather's getting cooler, it's really starting to feel like fall around here. And the leaves are coming down fast. I need to get out this weekend and pull in all my garden and patio ornaments and store them away until next spring. I can hardly believe how fast October is going.
I spent a lot of time online today trying to finalize stuff for our anniversary trip the week after next. We will arrive in Vegas late on a Sunday night so that night will just be checking in and maybe spend a little time in the hotel casino. Monday will be a day just to relax and sight-see on the strip or maybe explore 'downtown' vegas. I booked our half day Hoover dam tour for Tuesday afternoon, so we can sleep in and have a late breakfast before heading out on the tour which picks us up right at our Hotel. As I mentioned in a previous post, technically the trip is for our anniversary but that isn't til Nov. 9th, but we will also be celebrating my birthday while we're there and since we wanted to take in at least one show I decided to book that on my birthday—Wednesday night we will be going to see Shania Twain. Thursday will be just another day to hang out and see things on the strip. That day we also plan to try to either sleep in really late and/or come back for rest in the afternoon, since we have to leave for the airport at the ungodly time of 4am. We figure we'll just stay up til then and sleep on the plane home. This was the bad thing about using the $99 companion fare pass, the bastards would only let us book the return flight on the 5:45 am return flight. (There's always a catch isn't there? Of course for people who are early risers it probably wouldn't be such a chore, but I am so not an early riser!!)
