Hey Gramma! OMG! That's me!
Jan. 26th, 2010 02:31 amI am officially a gramma, beautiful baby boy born Sun. night. Thomas Andrew.
Just a quickie post, I am at my son's house an am pirating his computer in the middle of the night. (I am a perpetual night owl).
*Sigh* my baby (30 in 2 months) has fathered a baby. This is our first grandchild so it is awe inspiring (well I'm sure any grandchild is, but it is our first so it seems especially so.)
Anyway, will not be home til later tonight but couldn't wait to announce it officially. Will try to post a pic at home, he is gorgeous!

Date: 2010-01-27 03:49 am (UTC)Funny,I was just talking with my cousin and she asked me what I'd like to have my grand-kids call me. Her first called her grammy, but when the second came he was a preemie and had lots of problems with speech, etc. When he started talking it seemed he could only say the me sound at the end of grammy so he started calling her Mimi, now all her grandkids call her that. I think it's cute, it's different.
