I had forgotten just how small new born babies are!  He sure is a handsome guy though.  I realized just now  that I didn't get any pics of daughter-in-law Mollie.  She was there but pretty tuckered out as she labored for 24 hrs + then had to have a C-section, poor dear.  He sure is a handsome little guy (no prejudice on my part at all!)  ;)

Yes he does have a lot of silky soft hair! OOps sorry! He weighed 7lb 12 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Oh, Madeleone, he's gorgeous! And as tiny as they are, it's amazing how fast they grow. I actually thought my son (at 9 lbs) was a rather large baby. But when he was three months old, his newborn pics looked incredibly small! Many blessings on your family, and especially on this tiny bundle of joy!

He is incredibly cute, especially for someone who shares his name with Voldemort.

*snort* I didn't make the Tom R connection. LOL. My daughter-in-law wanted the name Thomas very much after her step-father who is really for all intents and purposes her dad. The Andrew was my son's choice and is for his oldest friend from high school.
I am glad those days are done for me, I loved having my kids and he is most adorable but I'm very happy to sit back and be a Grammy now. :)

Hee! Those days are pretty much done for me, too, barring a miracle. I bet I wouldn't find any kid that cute if I couldn't give him back when I'd had enough.

Part of the reason I made the Riddle connection is it's my dad's name, too, as well as one of sis-in-law's kids.

Oh, he is simply too darling for words! My heart goes out to Mollie. C-sections after a good bit of labor are not fun to recover from.

I know, the poor dear. I said it's one thing if you know you are having a C-section and just schedule it ahead, but to have to go through all that labor then end up in surgery anyway just doesn't seem fair. :( But she is doing well and they went home already.

Thanks! How is your little one? Sleeping through the night yet?

Ben just called and they survived the first full day at home, but are taking turns sleeping in spurts of a couple hours at a time. (luckily he was able to take 2 weeks vacation time to be home with Mollie and Tommy).

Fingers crossed it's paternity leave and then he'll have some holiday left to spend with Thomas when they're both slightly less exhausted.

Hmmm... I'm not sure I know he has two weeks off so I assumed it's vacation time. I don't really know though now that you've mentioned it.
