California here we come!

madeleoneJessie and I will be leaving for the airport in about an hour, a bit early but my Son-in-law, Brad, is going to drop us off on his way to work so we will be there by 1:30 and our flight doesn't leave til 5:00. But that's OK, we will check in and probably grab a late lunch, then we can people watch or play on our Nooks while we wait.
I'm really looking forward to seeing my friend, M, who has been one of my best freinds since high school, and to spending a week with my daughter, Jessie. This is our last fling as a mom/daughter trip before she gets married this summer. (Not that we won't ever do things together once she is married, but you know what I mean. LOL)
Plus I am super excited for the meet up Saturday with fan-girl friends in San Diego. We are combining the day with the zoo, which was high on Jess's list of things to do, with a meet up with fan girls. Squeeeeee!
