Day 3: a 'familiar' face

I'm posting a little late so this is for day three, and our new arrival was not who I was expecting. No, Hermione did not show up, knowing her, she's probably lost herself in the stacks of the restricted section researching something really important. But I'm sure Harry is very happy to have Hedgewig by his side along with Ron.

Wow. Didn't see that coming at all! When I first saw your post I thought it was the Dark Lord, but after reading further I realized it was Hedwig. After further musings, it kinda makes sense because Harry did not meet Hermione until after he had met the Weasleys and gotten his familiar when Hagrid took him to Diagon Alley to get his school supplies.

That's true, I just thought since Harry and Ron came out first the last member of the trio would be next. My daughter and I were wondering if all of the advent calendars have the characters in the same order, or if they have the 24 characters loaded randomly.

I, too expected Hermione. Save the best for last? At first glance I thought Hedwig was a skeleton, lol.
