Things are settled here. Memorial service for F-I-L was last Saturday, graveside military service on Mon. Hubby met with the lawyer Tues and we have spent the rest of the week clearing out closets, cupboards, sorting pictures, keep-sakes etc. Damn, this is two years in a row I have spent my time in Florida like this, I don't want to do this anymore!

It looks like we will have to make at least few more trips down here, none of the three kids wants to keep the house, but the market is not good now so they have decided to hold onto it for a year or two. If things haven't improved by then we will have to sell it anyway or have hub's bro and sis buy our share as I have absolutely no interest in living in Florida. (I doubt the sister can afford it and while the bro would like to keep it and share costs and time here I don't think he wants to buy out our share)

Anyway we are headed back Friday and plan to be home by Saturday if all goes well.

Luckily I have been able to pick up a stray signal, although I often have to move from one room to another when it fades in one area. But I have been able to at least keep up with reading the exchange and viewing the artsies, so that has kept me at least partially sane. :)
