Some pics from our fangirl trip on Saturday.

Well, our trip is nearing an end, we head back home tomorrow. I will post an update when I get home but I wanted to post a few pics from our fangirl meetup at the San Diego Zoo on Saturday. My daughter Jessie and I met up with mundungus42, keladry_lupin, arynwy, and lillithj.

We had beautiful weather and we all met at Chez 42 Nouvelle. It was supposed to be at 10:00 but Jess and I arrived early because I was paranoid of getting lost. Took us about an hour and twenty minutes to drive from Tustin. Mun42 and I squeee'd over getting to meet for the very first time. Soon arynwy, kel, and lillith arrived and we were off to the zoo.

Jessie helped me pick out her favorite pics to post,  so the rest is full of pic spam.

Thanks,Bunney. Sorry there's no pic of Lillith, that is her personal choice, she said she doesn't do pics. We did have a great time but man were we ever tired after, that zoo is huge and all up and down hills. Lucky for us Mun42 knows it very well and was able to be our own personal tour guide.

He's a takin from the mountains of China! They're like gnu + mountain goat! Nobody knows exactly who they're related to, and they always look like they're smiling!

I'm so glad you and J were able to visit! And I'm also glad Mr. Lion decided not to demonstrate his 5-7' spray range :D

It was very cool, Teddy. And I had also really looked forward to meeting some of my fangirl friends. I got to meet Clairvoyant who has been my beta for the last year, about a month ago. She was my first real fan girl meet up and that was so much fun we said we want to do it again... So this meet-up was my first group meet up and it was really fun.

It was nice meeting you too. And believe me, I was feeling it too, sister! In fact when we drove home and got out of the car we could barely move because we had stiffened up during the hour and a half drive back to Tustin.

Thanks, sweetie. I love the big cats too. I found another one of either a cheetah or a jaguar, we took and when I post more pics of my trip I'll try to add that on too. It is nice to put faces to names.

Thanks so much, hon. The trip few by, we are back in Michigan at my other daughters house and will be back home tomorrow. But it was lots of fun both meeting fangirl friends, making memories with Jessie, and getting to visit my high school best friend after all these years.

We really lucked out in that just as we came to the panda's pen they were putting out snacks and let him out.

The rest of the trip certainly was just as much fun, but it went by way too fast!
