Oh no, is it really true people shrink? I can't shrink. I'm already short. lol. And ditto about scrubbing the shower! I forgot all about the elephants, I love those too!

I know, there are so many great lines, TPB is one of my fave movies of all time. YES! I can SO relate.
I get so easily distracted. When I get to be a little ninety-year-old lady, I'm going to head out to the store and wind up in Wyoming, wondering how I got there . LOL

I used to blame it on the fact that with 4 kids it was just impossible to get everyone organized to be on time, but the kids are all grown so now I Don't have that excuse. Maybe I can blame it on the hubby!

Hurray for The Princess Bride. Tell me about the apple cake. Do you slice your apples?

Yay! Love TPB!

Yes the apples are sliced. When the cake is almost done you make a sauce with brown sugar, white sugar, water, a smidgen of flour to thicken and add vanilla and margarine (so it's kind of like a sweet buttery sauce) Pour over cake while both are still hot and it soaks in and glazes the top of the cake at the same time. It's really more like a dessert than a cake. If you want the recipe let me know and I'll pop it off in an email. :)

YES! on the coffee, at least two cups in the morning. And I am a glass is half full kind of girl but my hubby is such a negative nay-sayer I just want to choke him sometimes!
