Drabbles Galore!

Well another week of hogwarts_ldws has completed and I've managed to make it through into the semi-final round. I'm both surprised and excited. Thanks so much to everyone who voted for my drabble: Better Times,.  It's C, but as in previous rounds all the drabbles are well worth a read if you haven't already..

There are five authors left and round four's prompt is 'the giant squid.' Right now I have no idea where to go with this one, hopefully inspiration will strike.

Thanks, I was feeling a bit sentimental with this one.

My hubby actually has a leather coin-purse that was his dad's. When I read 'leather', I immediately thought of grandpa's coin purse. While not as bad as Severus' da, grandpa was a bit of a cantankerous old codger when hubby was growing up, but there were still good memories too. I desperately wanted for Severus to have had some good memories too.

Right now I'm drawing a blank, but I'll mull it over for a day and hopefully, something will inspire me.
